Sealed bids for the International and Monroe Sewer Replacement Project will be received at the City of Milwaukie Community Development Office located at 6101 SE Johnson Creek Boulevard, Milwaukie, OR 97206 until 2:00 PM on Mar 31st, 2011, at which time the sealed bids will be publicly opened and read. Bids received after 2:00 PM shall not be considered.

The project generally consists of 612 lineal feet of sewer main line replacement in Milwaukie, Oregon. The engineer’s estimated project cost is $111,000.

All bids shall be submitted on the furnished Bid Submission Packet in a sealed envelope plainly identifying the Spring 2010 Wastewater Rehab, project number, bid opening time and date, bidder’s name, and contractor’s license number. Sealed bids shall be addressed to Jason Rice, Project Manager, City of Milwaukie, Community Development, 6101 SE Johnson Creek Boulevard, Milwaukie, OR 97206. All bids shall be submitted in the prescribed form and said manner as indicated in the Information for Bidders. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond executed in favor of the City of Milwaukie in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount.

No bid will be considered unless the bid contains, or is accompanied by, a statement by the bidder that the provisions required by ORS 279C.838 or ORS 279C.840, as applicable, pertaining to prevailing wages, shall be included as part of the Contract.
